Made without gluten or dairy, this recipe is so easy to follow:
Ingredients
100g buckwheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 large organic free range egg
140ml almond or cashew milk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 scoop hemp protein powder
Method
Sieve the buckwheat flour into a bowl, add the baking powder, cinnamon and mix. In a separate bowl, add the almond milk to the beaten egg and vanilla essence. Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients mixing well. Let the batter sit for 30mins. Fry in small batches with olive oil.
You could also add hemp protein powder for amino acids, fibre and omega 3 EFAs to the mix. I love to add ground flax seeds too. They are super for digestion!
